Timeless Tuesday - Halloween Week 2009

Instead of one picture - here' s a collage of Caroline's Halloween fashion show last year. Yes, she has just as many outfits this year and yes I'm taking pictures...however I know she's burning up...it's all long sleeve clothes and it's 80 degrees outside!!

18 Month Check-Up

We had Caroline's 18 month check up this morning and all is well...sorta! Just like her 15 month check up, it turned into a sick visit, too. Yes, she is growing and healthy and smart, but has another pesky sinus infection that is being treated by yet another round of antibiotics. Poor little girl has been coughing at night for 2 weeks now and doesn't seem to bother her...but her Mommy sure is tired!!

• 12 teeth and 4 eye teeth coming in right now (FUN)

• When I pick her up, how she pats my shoulder and says "Head down?"
• How she checks all her babies' diapers (and Collier's) for stinkies
• How her entire body gets involved when she runs and when she runs so fast that she goes diagonal and doesn't realize it...it's quite a sight...

Things Caroline Likes:

• Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Dancing with the Stars
• Jumping from the sofa to the recliner and back
• Music
• Being in the driver's seat and pretending to drive
• Washing her hands
• Coloring and drawing
• Sunglasses (gwasses)
• Washcloths and wipes - she will carry one around for hours

We All Put Our Pants On...

Caroline was veeeeery quiet in her room this weekend...and this is what I find when I go to check on her! She's such a big girl!!! (And, just so you know, the pants leg was pulled up so tight that they were stuck!)

If Wally and I are able to bless Caroline with a younger brother or sister (or two!) one day, I know Caroline will be a TERRIFIC little helper. Yes, she is a biter and yes, she can throw some adult-sized temper tantrums, but we are working on those and from the lips of, well, everybody "this is just a phase" But deep down, she truly is a sweet, loving little girl. ...get the high chair ready for baby

...make sure the baby's clothes fit

...make sure the baby's clothes fit on her (and give her nasal spray)
