So, I failed at updating my blog on our potty training process. But, I have NOT failed at trying to get Caroline potty trained!! We are not 100% there, but things are going VERY well.
More often than not, she comes home from school in the same clothes she went in.
In our care at home, she rarely has an accident. But, I still hover and place her on the potty often. And don't think I don't use it as a bargaining tool. As in "You can watch Mickey Mouse if you sit down on the potty." Or "Do you want to go outside? Ok, then let's go potty first." And 99% of the time, she goes!
Twice she has woken up dry overnight. HOORAY! And she has quit fighting me when I prompt her to go directly to the potty the minute she steps out of the bed.
Going out and about has proven challenging. I take our potty everywhere. She goes in her potty at other people's houses, in the back of the car, at the park...you name it. Strangers must think I'm crazy. But, we are getting there. Oh, and I just got our cute little potty toppers to throw in our diaper bag...should make going in a restaurant a lot easier now!
Wish us luck. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll be able to say we're accident free!

Dana ~ in a previous post you mentioned the "3 Day Potty Training Method." Is there a book or did you find it on the web?
