Caroline had her 6 month check up last week and everything is great!!! She is 15 lbs. (30th percentile) and 26 inches long (50th percentile). She got 4 shots, one being the flu shot. I took the day off after her shots because she had such a bad fever after her 4 month shots, but my sweet little baby had no fever!! So, to celebrate…we went shopping!! The girl loves to shop – imagine that.
We have a couple of new milestones –
- Can sit unsupported for a VERY long time, I quit watching the clock after about 5 minutes. She loves to sit and play with her toys
- Beginning to babble a little – starting with BA
- I think she is starting to get the concept of “all done”. I have been doing the signs for “all done” in baby sign language since we started her on cereal. I’ve caught her **somewhat* waving her hands toward the end a meal a couple of times and I think that’s what she’s trying to tell me. (However, stupid me continues to feed her and she promptly throws up when I get her out of her high chair. I suppose I should listen if she’s trying to tell me something!)
Anyways, I took this little video of Caroline at the doctor’s office. The paper was in shreds by the time we left. She LOVES to play on that paper!!!
