Six months old…can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday we were in the hospital, our lives changing by the second…and now my baby is 6 months old. Why couldn’t the last 6 months of my pregnancy gone by this fast???
Milestones:
Milestones:
- Almost sitting up – can sit unsupported for about 20 seconds
- Eating – and loving - all Stage One baby foods (we like peas now!), rice cereal and baby oatmeal
- Most definitely mobile – not quite crawling, more like “inching”
- Still teething, I guess…nothing has come out yet, but she shows all the signs
Likes:
- Mortimer the Moose
- Kicking and rubbing her feet together
- Talking to herself in her crib in the morning
- Banging stuff together to make loud noises
- Bath time
- Squealing
- Looking at herself in a mirror
- Laughing at crying babies (this is not something I’m proud of)
Dislikes:
- Being swaddled
- Being left alone in a room
- Having her face wiped clean after a meal
As you can tell, there’s not much that upsets my sweet little baby. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…she is a VERY happy little girl. She smiles all the time, talks all the time (hmmm…where did she get that from) and loves all the time.
We didn’t do much for her ½ birthday yesterday – just played around the house, napped, ate and played some more.
