I See A Little Smile!

I need a little pick-me-up today. So, I thought I'd share some things that currenly make me smile on a daily basis. Enjoy!

  1. She can (correctly) identify all the colors in an 8-pack of crayons. And she is 100% obsessed with brown - aka "beee-own-a". And if she's gracious enough to let someone else color with her "beee-own-a" crayon, she will stand patiently until she tells you that you are done.

  2. She can (correctly) identify: circle, diamond, triangle, square and oval (aka "football"). And her favorite shape is a diamond. Mama's little girl!!!
  3. Has a remarkable ability to match the right shoes to her outfit. I don't know if it's because she's remembered what shoes I've used in the past or if she's just THAT GOOD...
  4. Loves to play hide-and-seek. Nothing sweeter than hearing her yell "I FIND YOU!" when you're hiding in plain sight.
  5. She can count to 13, with a little push past 1-2-3...she will say "one two one two" over and over until you offer to help with "three"
  6. Has sat on her big girl potty many times with zero success. Unless you count either one of the following - saying "pssssssssss" while sitting on said potty or pee-peeing on the floor NEXT to the potty as she gets off
  7. She is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and can identify all characters, even the ones that don't appear often.

  8. She loves to sing. Right now, her favorite songs are the ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle and Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes

  9. She loves to talk. She will repeat everything you say (EEK! Gotta clean up the language!) and is speaking 4 and 5 word sentences now. She does, however, have one particular sentence that she repeats often with so much confidence and intent; but the problem is that Wally and I have no idea what she's saying. ZERO. She will run up to us, say her trademark babble, wait for us to acknowledge and move on with her busy little life.

  10. She is recently discovered family hugs and kisses. Lots of time, she is not happy until Mommy, Daddy AND Caroline are all three hugging and kissing all at one time. And, yes, people in restaurants will laugh at you, too.
