Summer Lovin'!

Had me a blast!! Last weekend, we went BACK to Columbia for fun-filled family weekend! (Wally would probably have conflicting ideas about "fun-filled" HAHA!) On Saturday, my mom's entire extended family - those who could make it - got together for hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon and water-fun. If you're not familiar with my family - my mom has 7 brothers & sisters, then add in their children & spouses, and their children...there was 30-some people there all together!!!

Caroline & Jackson begging to be let out of the madhouse... Haha! Just kidding - they had fun playing on the storm door and blowing kisses on it and playing with me on the other side.

Caroline wasn't too interested in playing in the kiddie pool at first. But then she'd only get in if she had her clothes on. Wasn't a fan of the bathing suit when we first put it on. What can I say? I don't like being in a bathing suit in front of a lot of people either.






We had to make it a quick wardrobe change but we eventually made it into the bathing suit! By the way - isn't Jackson the cutest little red-head you've ever seen?






Caroline has developed quite the little personality. She's learned to "pose" for the camera. I have NO idea where she gets that from. No, seriously - I don't. I hate getting my picture taken.

It was a looooong, hot day - but we had a blast. Caroline took a quick 1 hour nap while we were there, didn't sleep on the car ride back to my parent's house and stayed awake until 9:30 PM - and slept til 8:00 AM on Sunday - Mommy REALLY appreciated that, Caroline! Thank you!!!
