14 Fun Facts about Caroline

Since Caroline is (almost) 14 months old, I thought I’d share 14 fun facts about my sweet baby girl. I think she’s going to be as quirky as her mama!! HAHA!

1. She walks everywhere, but if she is not walking to a particular destination, her legs are moving as if she’s walking in place
   
2. She HAS to carry her bottle bag into school everyday. She looks so prissy too, because it’s a little Vera Bradley cooler-type bag. And I usually have to let the teachers put her cups in the fridge because I can’t pry her hands off of the handle
   
3. She can point out her ears, nose, mouth, belly button, teeth, feet and hands
   
4. She can say mama, dada, ball, sunshine, thank you (kinda), hi/hey, uh-oh, no, shoes, what’s that (wassat), two, outside, nana (banana)
   
5. She has started to throw herself on the floor to throw a fit; She cries and cries and cries and I laugh and laugh and laugh
   
6. She doesn’t belly laugh much, but she has a dainty little chuckle that you hear all the time.
   
7. EVERY morning, she hands me her lovey when I walk over to her crib to greet her. And if she’s not already holding it to give to me, she gets it to give to me.
   
8. She has a true BFF at school named Katherine (her name is actually Katherine Brown – funny, huh?); like they are serious partners in crime and always play together. It’s the sweetest thing ever
   
9. She only really plays with her toast and toaster from her kitchen that we got her for her birthday – and the sink
   
10. She likes to stick her finger up your nose…and she’ll jam it up there if you’re not paying attention
    
11. She LOVES to play with her ladybug ball and she’s starting to learn to throw it – usually, she just walks around the house with it
    
12. She would prefer to play in my Tupperware cabinet and/or the bathroom drawers rather than playing with her toys. Toys are not strewn across the house, measuring cups, mixing bowls, deodorant and shaving cream cans are (by the way, if you find my eye make-up remover, please let me know)
    
13. She gives the BEST hugs and kisses – really, the sweetest ones you’ve ever seen
    
14. LOVES to be sung to – Daddy has is made-up song that he sings and I sing “You Are My Sunshine” – if you know Caroline, she does NOT like to cuddle – but if Wally or I start to sing those to her, she’ll come running to our laps!!!
