Caroline loves to play outside. She definitely gets that from her daddy. Although, I’m starting to come around. I’m happy just seeing Caroline so happy – indoors or outdoors.
We have a new routine in the evenings. They’ve cut her back to one nap a day at school and that doesn’t cut it for us at home after work/school. So, as soon as I get home from getting Caroline, I put her in her crib for a quick 45 minute to an hour nap. It helps me get dinner ready and it also puts Sleeping Beauty’s attitude in check! (On a side note, she’s eating much better dinners now with this new schedule, too!!) Anyways, after her nap and family dinner, we play outside!!! Sometimes we go up to the neighborhood park, sometimes we drag out her swingset and 4-wheeler at home or sometimes we do both!!

A plus side – this wears her little butt out and she sleeps extra well at night! Not that we’ve ever had a problem with her sleeping, but ….
She is still not a HUGE fan of swinging – just a short attention span is really more like it. (Funny enough, she didn’t care for her baby swing, either.) But, we still get some great pictures!! Can you see her hair???
