I'm baaaaack! And I mean it this time. I've missed blogging and I could kick myself for not keeping up with Anna's growth and milestones on here. So, I'm here to say it right now. I WILL blog more in 2013. I know I don't have many readers, but I will look back one day and be so disappointed that I can't check in to see what Anna (or Caroline) was doing at any given time.
As with every other new year, I come with resolutions. Some are usually more attainable than others, but this year I think I can manage them all. That being said - if I write them down here, then I HAVE to stick to them, right? Here it goes...
Blog More Often: this is self explanatory. At any given point in time, I can look back and see what Caroline was doing at a particular time. I can't say the same for Anna. And since I am a lazy mom and didn't keep a baby book for either girl (Ok, a half a one for Caroline, none for Anna...sorry, Mom), then this is all I've got.
Document Our Lives: I have a very nice, very expensive camera and I need to use it more. Not that I don't use it much, I just need to use it more. And we need to do more stuff so we can document it. Ha! One would think that living in a tourist town would provide many opportunities to "do things" but that's not necessarily so. Our girls are getting older and we need to experience life. Coming up: Ringling Bros. circus in Florence, weekend with the Smathers in February, weekend in Charlotte with my BFF Meredith to shop, eat and do nothing, Luke Bryan concert, Disney World this fall, are just to name a few
Become More Financially Sound: Who doesn't want this, really? We've got some cards that need to be paid off and a savings account to grow. And with the economy the way it is and no end in sight (until 2016...what?), then some things have got to change around here.
Change My Attitude: I've got some personal hang-ups that I need to work through as well as some attitude adjustments I need to change about some things in my daily life. That all will begin with becoming closer to God and strengthening my relationship with Him.
Maintain A Healthy Weight: Ugggghhhh.....my weight.... I took a hiatus from Weight Watchers for about the whole month of December and it's time to get my you-know-what back in gear. This starts on Monday. I weighed myself periodically throughout the month and I've only gained about 4-5 lbs. back, which it could have been SO much worse. Because I sure have been eating like a truck driver. Anyways, it's time to get that weight back off again and start maintaining my goal weight.
Here's to a healthy (lord knows we need that) and a prosperous 2013.
